President Jeanie then introduced the speakers for the evening.

Dr. Cynthia Walsh Rosiello presented a program regarding "criminal acts involving prescription drugs." Dr. Walsh is a Morgantown physician and specializes in Gynecology. She explained that now when prescribing medicines, a data base can be accessed to find out what medications have been prescribed to the patient by other doctors in order to control over-prescribing. Dr. Walsh is a graduate of WVU School of Medicine.

Professor Temple discussed his current book project, AMERICAN PAIN to be published in 2015. HIs book chronicles the recent rise and fall of the nation's biggest painkiller trafficking organization, a clinic which originated in Florida by a medical doctor. This illegal drug organization fueled the deadliest drug epidemic in history.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.

Submitted by Jeanie Walsh in the absence of a Secretary.
