SOUTHERN GOLDEN RETRIEVER SOCIETY

SINGLE BREED CLUB OPEN SHOW

OCTOBER 2011

Lovely venue and atmosphere at my first Open Club show with Golden Retrievers. Thank you for the card and the beautiful crystal keepsake, the Golden Retriever Picture I won from the beautiful array of raffle prizes will be a good reminder. Lovely refreshments and friendly Officers and Committee and exhibitors alike with lots of clapping from the audience made for a very enjoyable day.

Quality entry of 189 with some super dogs and bitches going card less. Lots of very good breed type and were favourable to the breed standard, all in good condition with substance and muscle tone, I was pleased to see in the younger classes majority were sound with driving action. All had lovely temperaments bar one who had a very bad experience.

I was delighted with all my top winners and gave my Best Dog Best in Show
