Three robbers arrested : Farsh Bazar police arrested three robbers including one minor tonight. According to ACP/Vivek Vihar accused Yunus age 20 years, Pradeep age 19 year, and one minor, trio resident of New Sanjay Amar Colony Delhi. Victim namely Raju 22 years R/o Vishwas Nagar who works with his father in Jyoti Arts Process Bholanath Nagar. Both were going to their house around 10.15 pm on 6-1-10. When they reached near Kabristan Vishwash Nagar accused waylayed and robbed of mobile of Raju. When they resisted accused stabbed Raju who was got treated Dr. Hedgewar hospital. Robbed mobile recovered. Further investigation is on.

SENSATIONAL CASE OF KIDNAPPING FOR RANSOM AND MURDER OF DOCTOR’S SON SOLVED.

THREE ACCUSED PERSONS, INCLUDING CONSPIRATOR /RELATIVE ARRESTED.

With the arrest of the following three kidnappers, the South Dist. Police has solved a sensational case of kidnapping for ransom in which the kidnap boy was murdered. The names of accused persons arrested are-

1.Manish Verma @ Sonu s/o Subhash Verma r/o Parnami Colony, ward no. 8 H. No. 277 Gannor Distt. Sonipat Haryana, Age 23 years, 10th Pass;

2.Viplav Biswas s/o Vidhan Biswas r/o D 337, Mangol puri, Gali No. 6 Delhi. 23 years, 12th Pass; and

3.Deepak s/o Ram Pal Singh r/o D-325, Gali No. 6, Mangol Puri Delhi, Age 23 years, 10th Pass.

INCIDENT

On 05.01.2010, Sh. Shrimal Roy s/o Late T. C. Roy r/o H. No. 355, Sec-3, Rohini, New Delhi reported in Police Station Rohini South about kidnapping of his son Raju Roy by someone as he was not traceable from 6.45 PM dated 04.01.2010. The case was registered and the investigation was taken up at the Police Station concerned.

TEAM & INVESTIGATION

In view of the seriousness of the incident, immediately, some teams were also constituted in South District to work on the case. A team consisting of Insp. Sh. Jai Parkash (Insp. /Investigation) Vasant Kunj South, HC Devender No.345/SD, HC Subhash No. 329/SD, HC Bani Singh No. 274/SD, HC Surender 1825/SD, HC Ajit No. 1826/SD and Ct. Pardeep No. 1818/SD was constituted at PS Vasant Kunj South under the supervision of Sh. Mohd. Ali ACP/Vasant Vihar.

The team so constituted geared up its resources and analysed the movements of the victim as well as his friends and acquaintances. Traps were laid at different places as it was learnt that ransom call of Rs. 20 lacs was also made for the release of the victim. Meanwhile, it was learnt that the victim had been murdered and his body packed in the dicky of his own car which was found dumped in the area of Karnal, Haryana.

This area was put on focuse to know the movements of accused persons and to nab them. All out efforts were made to find out the clues. Meanwhile, the team received specific information about the movements of two of the accused persons in Vasant Kunj area. Working on this tip off, the team apprehended (1) Viplav Biswas s/o Vidhan Biswas r/o D 337, Mangol puri, Gali No. 6 Delh and (2) Deepak s/o Ram Pal Singh r/o D-325, Gali No. 6, Mangol Puri Delhi, Age 23 years, 10th Pass. From the interrogation of these accused persons, involvement of Manish Verma s/o Subhas Verma r/o Parnami colony Ward no. 8 H. No. 277 was also found in the case and team working swiftly, apprehended him from Gannor, Sonipat, Haryana.

INTERROGATION

On sustained interrogation, the accused persons told a story of betrayal, blind hunger for easy money and unrestrained use of violence to achieve the same. It was disclosed by above mentioned VIPLAV BISWAS that the deceased Raju was distant cousin of him. He used to pay visits to his house and was a very jovial, and happy boy, living a good life. His way of life was envied by him as he also wanted to be in the same league. So, to live by the same standards he hatched a conspiracy in cahoots with two known local criminals and one of his friends to kidnap and extract handsome ransom money from his father who was running a good medical practice.

Therefore, Viplav on 04.01.10 acting on well planned scheme called deceased Raju to his father’s clinic for a party, where other accomplices were waiting with full preparation to execute plans. Deceased Raju considering Viplav his relative and friend came at the given place and time, wherefrom he was overpowered and kidnapped in his own Santro Car by co-accuseds, namely, (1) Deepak s/o Rampal, (2) Deepak @ Kuldeep and (3) Hardeep s/o Dharampal, all r/o D-Block Mangol Puri.

They took him to Gannor, where they met their other co-accused, namely, Manish Varma @ Sonu, who provided them with all logistical support during execution of this dastardly crime. They after getting all help from Manish went to the agricultural fields of village Beoli in district Panipat, Haryana and from there Hardeep made a ransom call of Rs. 20 lacs to the father of deceased. In the night they also withdrew money from the ATM from the account of the deceased.

Meanwhile, father of deceased got the case registered on 05.01.10. Sensing police action, Viplav made a call to Hardeep and told him to eliminate him and get off from there. Acting on this command of Viplav, Deepak s/o Rampal, Deepak s/o Ramphal and Hardeep s/o Dharampal first dipped the head of deceased in a pit full of water and then stabbed him till he died. There from they put the body in the dicky of car by taking speakers of stereo out and went to village Rishalu, the village of Hardeep’s brother-in-law, where they handed over the speaker at his relative’s house and went to Gharonda, near Karnal and left the car with dead body kept inside and boarded the Delhi bound bus and came back. Efforts are on to arrest the other accused persons and recover looted articles from the deceased.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS

(1) Viplav Biswas s/o Vidhan Biswas r/o D 337, Mangol puri, Gali No. 6 Delhi. 23 years, 12th Pass.

He assists his father at his clinic, who is a RMP doctor. From the enquiry so far no other involvement has been found in his name.

(2) Deepak s/o Ram Pal Singh r/o D-325, Gali No. 6, Mangol Puri Delhi, Age 23 years, 10th Pass

He does not work any where at present. Earlier, he was use to work as electrician. From the enquiry so far no other involvement has been found in his name, too.

(3) Manish Verma @ Sonu s/o Subhash Verma r/o Parnami Colony, ward no. 8 H. No. 277 Gannor Distt. Sonipat Haryana, Age 23 years, 10th Pass.

He is a goldsmith and works as jobber. His family had been resident of D-Block, Mangolpuri area and is very close to Hardeep and Deepak s/o Ramphal. He was arrested in Gannor under preventive sections earlier.

Further investigation is in progress. Further details of criminals are being are being verified.

The members of the team are being recommended for suitable reward.

MOBILE SNATCHERS ARRESTED

With the arrest of (1) Usmaan@Chotu aged 19 years S/o Sagir R/o H.NO 49, Lakri Market Welcome, Delhi and (2) Hansraj@ Sonu aged 21 years S/o Ram Babu R/o A/105 Double Story, Welcome, Delhi Special Staff North-East District has solved a case of snatching of P.S Seelampur Delhi,one mobile phone has been recovered from their possession.

TEAM AND THE INCIDENT

A team consisting of Inspector Sukhwinder Singh I/C Special Staff N/E,SI Promod Anand,S.I Fathe Singh(PS.Seelampur) H.C. Ashok,HC Ajad Hc Noor Mohd. Hc Upender Ct. Deepak, Ct Sandeep andCt. Gurucharan Singh was constituted under the close supervision of Sh. S.S. Hassan, ACP/operation, North-East District, Delhi.

On 07.01.10, an incident of snatching was took place near Seelampur flyover, in which a mobile phone was snatched from a lady constable .Accordingly a case was registered vide F.I.R NO.09/10 at PS. Seelampur.A team consisting of above mentioned police officers was constituted to solve this case. On 09.01.10 at 7 P.M. a secret information was received by the above police team that two snatcher who were involved in this incidend would come at bus stand 66 feet road seelampur Delhi, accordingly a raid was conducted at bus stand 66 feet road seelampur and two person were apprehended by the police team.On sustained interrogation they disclosed that on 07.01.10 they have snatched mobile phone from a lady near Seelampur flyover. The snatched mobile phone has been recovered from their possession.

INTERROGATION

The identity of the accused persons were revealed as(1) Usmaan@Chotu S/o Sagir R/o H.NO 49, Lakri Market Welcome, Delhi and (2) Hansraj@ Sonu S/o Ram Babu R/o A/105 Double Story, Welcome, Delhi. Accused Usmaan@Chotu is previously involved in a case of robbery of PS Welcome and accused Hansraj@ Sonu is previously involved in two cases of robbery & theft of PS. Welcome.

THREE FUGITIVE & DESPERATE HIGHWAY TRUCK ROBBERS/AUTOLIFTERS OF ROSHAN @ BABLOO GANG ARRESTED BY CRIME BRANCH.

ALL THE THREE ARRESTED CRIMINALS WERE CARRYING REWARD OF RS. 5000/- EACH DECALRED BY THE GHAZIABAD POLICE.

ONE CAR RECOVERED.

The Anti Extortion Cell of Crime Branch has busted a gang of desperate highway truck robbers/Auto-lifters of Roshan @ Babloo gang by arresting three members of the gang including its leader. One Car has been recovered from the possession of the members of the gang. The arrested criminals were wanted in many cases in Delhi & UP and were carrying a cash reward of Rs. 5000/- each declared by the Ghaziabad Police for their arrest. Many cases of robbery/theft have been worked out with the arrest of these robbers.

OPERATION

HC Jitendra Singh of the Anti Extortion Cell of Crime Branch received secret information about the activities and movements of a notorious gang of highway truck robbers who used to rob the trucks found parked at isolated places on highway. The information was further developed and a team under the supervision of Sh. Jasbir Malik, ACP/AEC and led by Insp. Arvind Kumar was constituted that comprising of SI Brahm Dev, SI Sanjeev Yadav, HCs Jitendra Singh, Dhir Singh, Pyare Lal, Santraj & Cts Chitranja and Lalit Dixit was deputed to keep a tab over the movements of the aforesaid criminals. The painstaking efforts of the team bore fruit and the following three desperate criminals were apprehended at about 4 PM on 9-1-2010 from Paschim Puri, Pashim Vihar, Delhi on a secret tip off.

1.Roshan Singh @ Babloo (Age-29 years) s/o Sudershan Singh @ Attar Singh r/o X-407, Mangolpuri, Delhi.

2.Ramesh Kumar @ Bihari (Age-26 Years) s/o Anand Yadav r/o D-195, Extention-II, Nangloi, Delhi.

3.Pradeep @ Toni (age 30 years) s/o Sudershan Kumar r/o 20-A, Pocket-II, Pashim Puri, Delhi.

RECOVERY

  1. One Car No. DL-3CAS-2023 reportedly stolen on 06/01/2010 from the area of PS Con. Place vide FIR. No. 04/10 dated 06/01/2010 u/s 379 IPC.

In this case, one TRUCK No. HR-55G-2290 was robbed by the accused persons along with their associates.

4.Case FIR No. 377/09 dt. 30/8/09 u/s 379 IPC PS H.N.Din, New Delhi.

In this case, one TRUCK No. DL-1GB-6679 was stolen by the accused persons..

5.Case FIR No04/10 dt. 06/01/10 u/s 379 IPC PS Con. Place, New Delhi.

In this case, one CAR make “LOGAN MAHINDRA” No. DL-3CAS-2023 was stolen by the accused persons..

Presently, Roshan Singh @ Babloo have taken two blue line buses, on contract, plying on Route No. 910 from Nangloi to Shivaji Stadium while accused Ramesh Kumar @ Bihari and Pradeep @ Toni were working as driver and conducter respectively on the buses.

MODUS OPERANDI:

The gang members used to operate in an SUVs/luxury cars at night. Around mid night, all the gang members armed with knives and countrymade pistols would look for a truck parked at an isolated place and overpower the occupants by threatening them on the point of knives and pistols. After covering some distance from the place of incident, they would set the driver/cleaner free. The accused persons are desperate and habitual criminals and commit thefts and highway robberies in the area of Delhi and Ghaziabad along with his associates.

The concerned police stations where the incidents were reported have been informed. The investigation of the case is in progress and some more robbed vehicles and the receivers of these vehicles have been identified.
