HORSE MOTEL
Overnight Stabling
$20.00 per night per horse
Horse stalls are very roomy (15 x 15) and secure. Turn outs are available. Water and electricity is available at each stall. Sawdust is provided. Horse owner is responsible for cleaning their horse stall before leaving. Droppings are to be placed in muck buckets provided.
Owner must provide:
- Negative current coggins
- Water buckets
- Grain and hay (feed and hay can be provided for additional charge if arrangements are made in advance)
Extended Stabling
$22.00/ day. Hay available at $4.50 per bale
South Branch Stables can accommodate your horse for extended stabling. The horse stalls are secure and roomy and turn outs are available for daily exercise. Owner must provide negative coggins paper and grain if horse is grain fed.
Kennel Accommodations:
Dogs are welcome. Dogs are only allowed in kennel run or designated dog play area and kept on a leash at all times. Arrangements must be made at the reservation time. No dogs in concession stand. Prices for overnight kenneling are determined by dog's weight. Prices range from $8.50 to $11.00.
SOUTH BRANCH STABLES Rules:
It is assumed common courtesy will always apply, in borrowing tack or feed, in clean oneself or one’s horse, in using all areas of the facilities.
- Absolutely no smoking anywhere near the barn.
- Park in designated areas.
- Every rider must wear a helmet every time they are on a horse.
- Every rider must have a signed release on file. Anyone under 18 must have it signed by a parent or legal guardian.
- Boots or shoes with heels must be worn whenever stirrups are used.
- No riding in the barn aisles.
- Sign out on the board with a departed time and an estimated return time when returning
- No deliberate loose horses.
- Arena lights will go off at 10:00pm
- Barn lights will go off at 10:00pm (exceptions will be made for competition and/or other approved activities).
- The farm is accessible every day, but we will strongly encourage horses and riders to take Mondays and Tuesdays off.
- Show/clinic dates will be posted and the arena and other activities.
- Watch for fast moving horses all the time.
- At all times, children must be under the direct supervision of a responsible parent. Running, shouting, climbing on gates, railing, rock throwing and loud behavior is not permitted. No children under age of 16 are to be dropped off.
- All dogs must be on a leash.
- Speed limit is 10mph
- No one person will be allowed to “take over” the arena. Be courteous and respect each other’s space.
- Every visitor is responsible for their clean ups before leaving.
