39 players –contested the April monthly medal, best round of the day belonged to Keith Fraser with a nett 67 to take out the C grade with Harry Howard runner up on 72. B grade went to Tony Cole on 68 on a countback from Peter McDonnell and in A grade Peter Clark’s 77, which was the best gross round was also good enough to take the nett score with 69 from a the trio of Dion McRae, John Halpin and Bruce Bartle, all with 71, Dion winning the countback. Nearest the pins went to John De Jersey X 2, Brian Allen, Sam Di Pietro and Peter Clark. Approach shots were won by Dion McRae X 2, Sam Di Pietro, Keith Fraser, Ross Barnes, and Tony Lynch. The ball rundown went; Sam Di Pietro 69, Carl Pearce 70, Bruce Bartle 71, John Halpin 71, Alan Meyers 72, Peter Morris 73, Ross Barnes 73, Ian Millar 73, John De Jersey 74, Di Lilley 74, Judy Barnes 75, Gavin McConnell 75 and Fred Ericsen-Miller 75.

Putting Comp - Best putter in A grade was Peter Clark 26, in B grade Tony Cole 25, and in C grade Keith Fraser 28.

Vets shield – The next round of the Vets Shield will be at Tallebudgera on Friday April 20th. Info on start times and entry fees will be in next week’s letter, if you would like to play put your name down with Peter Clark.

Early start time in May - the Single Stableford on the 2nd will be an 8.00am start and this will continue through to September.

The District Vets Championships – flooded out at Palm Meadows has now been moved to Arundle Hills on Friday July 20th. If you have already payed for Palm Meadows and wish to play at Arundle see Peter Clark, if you have already payed and do NOT wish to play Arundle see Peter. Cost for Arundle is the same as Palm Meadows, $60 less District subsidy of $10, less TM Vets subsidy of $15 = $35 for golf, lunch and 50% of a cart, excellent value!

Friday Fusion –we are hoping for some more good weather this Friday, a chipping game, (anyone can enter),a good social evening and some really good food from the kitchen is on offer, this is now a regular event on Fridays and proving very popular,come and try it,you vill enjoy yourself.
