1.SCOPE

This specification covers the requirements for a Track and Trace piggyback label used for INTERNATIONAL REGISTERED LETTERS.

  1. DESCRIPTION

The label is of the self-adhesive piggy back type, to be affixed to envelopes and parcels which are mainly manufactured from paper, cardboard, tyvek and plastic. The labels shall be supplied fanfolded.

5.PROOFS

5.1The manufacturer shall, after receipt of the order, inform the Manager, Supply Chain Management, of the time required to prepare the proofs and the date on which delivery will commence, after the proofs have been approved.

5.2The manufacturer shall forward four (4) proofs of printing and layout to:

5.3Two hundred (200) pre-production labels of each series shall be forwarded to the Manager, Track and Trace, for approval prior to production.

Production shall not commence until the proofs have been approved.

Quality checks shall be carried out at the discretion of the S. A. Post Office.
