NO FUN DAY MEETING IN APRIL
There will be no Fun Day meeting this month.
SPRING BRUNCH SET-UP and HELP
Thursday May 4, 4:45 pm for setting up tables and chairs. Also place settings if time permits.
Saturday, May 6 at 9:00 am to finish setting up and food prep. Bonnie Chelone has volunteered to help with the food but she will need several hands to help with thechopping and mixing. These prep people do not have to be Rotarians, spouses, friends, and others are welcome to help. Please bring your own knives and cutting boards. All final set up will need to be completed, tables, chairs, bar, silent auction, etc.
Sunday, May 7
Check with Mark Gallegos, he’s the chairperson, as to when he wants everyone there. Usually an hour prior. Elaine and the 4H kids will be there to help, and so will DJ Steve to keep you entertained.
Please plan on helping with clean-up after the event.

Memorial Day Ceremony
The Memorial Day Ceremony will be Monday, May 29. The exact time will be determined. Prior to this ceremony we spend time cleaning the Hillcrest Cemetery. Also, American flags will need to be placed on all veteran’s graves. Tentatively, cemetery clean-up will be Saturday, May 27 and flag placement Sunday May 28. Phil Gangwish will be coordinating these events, he will set and confirm times
Service Projects
District Service Grant- Community Hall Handicap Upgrade is coming along. Mike Barrett is chairperson. Members may be needed to help with specific aspects of this project. Watch for emails and texts regarding times and work needed.
Easter Egg Coloring and Hunt

I will be spending the next few weeks in California. I will be available by phone, text, and or email. Phil Gangwish has agreed to run the meetings while I am away. Merle will be back and forth and we wanted continuity for the club. Thanks so much Phil.
I will continue to do my best by the club while I am gone and will monitor pending projects and help in any way that I can.
