F/Sgt N C K Leonard RAAF / T/O Waddington but collided with another Lancaster near Swinderby. The aircraft was badly damaged. It jettisoned the bombs in the North Sea and returning inland 4 crew members baled out. With the Pilot, F/ENG and Nav on board it was flown to Carnaby. No one was hurt.

LM716 HW-K / Training / W/O P S Tarry / T/O Grimsby. Port Tyre burst and crew advised to land at Carnaby. On landing the aircraft swerved to the left with the port main undercarriage collapsing, followed second later by the starboard leg. No injuries
2/3 June 1945 / 405 / Lancaster
KB985 LQ-B / Training / F/O J R Hartley / T/O Linton-on-Ouse but a tyre burst and they were advised to divert to Carnaby. Crash landed, no injuries.
