SNUCG registration process
Mohamed reported that the registration process was rejected by UK Companies House due to following reason:
Use of the sensitive words “University” and “Group”.
Application resubmitted for reconsideration after completing the requirements from the UK Companies House. Now looking forward a reply
UK Universities representative body
Mohamed stated that this umbrella body represent all UK Universities. Its important to liaise with this group and explore how they can support the reconstruction programme of SNU.
Contact from the new Rector of SNU
Mohamed received an email from the new Rector of SNU. Rector stated that the Somali Federal Government is in process of reopening the following faculties by 2013 :
Medicine
Agriculture
Veterinary
Education
Resources is urgently needed for the above faculties and teaching staff
Telephone contact with Director General Ministry of Development & Human Resource
Abdullahi Bahassan contacted Mr. Mohamed Abdulkadir Director General and updated the developments of the SNUCG

Adam is Somali intellectual living in Canada and member of SNUCG.
He is very committed to support the reconstruction programme of SNU.
Mr Adam has link with Canadian Universities which could possibly offer some help for reconstruction programme of SNU
