0 / 1 / 2 / 3 / 4
Step 1 / There was no stem-and-leaf or line plot. / There were less than 10 pieces of data. / There was 10 pieces of data, but the graphs had major mistakes. / There were 10 pieces of data and the graph had minor mistakes. / There were at least 10 pieces of data and the graph was correct.
Step 2 / There was no frequency distribution. / The frequency distributions intervals were incorrect. / The frequency distribution was missing some information from the data that was collected. / The frequency distribution had very minor mistakes. / Everything was correct with the frequency distribution.
Step 3 / There was no histogram. / The histogram had incorrect intervals. / The intervals were not on the horizontal axis or the frequency was not on the vertical axis. / The histogram had very minor mistakes. / The histogram was correct.
Step 4 / There was no circle graph. / The percentages were off on the circle graph. / There was no key or the key was done incorrectly. / The circle graph’s key was correct, but the pieces were not appropriate for the percentages. / The circle graph was correct.
Step 5 / The project was done on lined paper or the use of pencil was evident. / There was no color or creativity put into the project. / The project was colored, but was put together poorly. / The project was in color and had a title. It is worthy of being displayed for the class to see. / The project was creative, colorful, had a title, and was so great the WORLD should see it!
