Total income = $10,000 more than our total expenses, but we haven’t paid for all the conference costs yet. Our dissemination revenue from BioOne continues to increase and it is now $18,000 for this year. Last year is was $16,000.
Current membership is 468.

SOE has a new website. The website team is Chelsey Armstrong, Cissy Fowler, Denise Glover, and Alex McAlvay.

2015: Thank you to the local hosts, Jan Timbrook and Amber VanDerwarker
2016: The 39th Annual Conference will be in Tucson, Arizona in March. The earlier dates of the meeting means earlier deadlines for abstract submissions.
Call for Proposals for Conference 2017!: We do not yet have a site, so we are accepting proposals for hosting the conference. Liz will be collecting these during the upcoming months. These proposals

Bill Balee thanks Dana, Kris, and Lee for doing a wonderful job as the Journal’s 3 editors.
The Journal has moved to 3 issues and plans to move to 4 issues per year.
The Journal has published 3 special topics issues lately: food security, climate change, and fire ecology.

The Contributions series is still active.
Ethnobiology LettersEditors’ Report (James Welchand/or Steve Wolverton) (5 minutes)
EBL is 6 years old. We’ve grown steadily but modestly. We complement the Journal. Cissy is rotating off of the editorial board. Mac Marston will take Cissy’s place as co-editor.
This is the first year we’ll have a 2nd issue – a special issue – on Digital Archaeology.
We are indexed by Scopus. EBL was just accepted for indexing by EBSCO host.
We continue to be free, open access.

We are seeking new mentors. Check the mentor box by your name if you want to be a mentor.
Ethnobiology Fellowshipsand Inaugural Winners (Steve Wolverton) (4 minutes)
We received an anonymous donation match that for 5 years we would receive $750 for 3 student awards. The donor agreed to give the money every year for 5 years if the Society would match it and put that match in a fund – so we have the money for 10 years.
We have a first 3 winners this year.
