POOL RULES

  1. Pool badges must be displayed at all times and identification must be presented upon request. Residents must display a member badge and guests must display a guest badge. Children three years old and younger do not require a badge.
  2. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
  3. Any person showing evidence of any communicable skin disease, sore or inflamed eyes, cold, nasal or ear discharges, or any other communicable disease shall be denied admission at the discretion of the lifeguard.
  4. Any person with excessive sunburn, open blisters, cuts or bandages shall be denied admission.
  5. Do not enter the water if you are experiencing or recovering from diarrhea or have any signs or symptoms of gastrointestinal (stomach) disease in the past seven days.
  6. For safety reasons and for the protection of the filter equipment, NO disposable diapers (Pampers, Luvs, Huggies, etc.) are allowed in the pool at any time. Babies and young children must wear disposable swim pants.
  7. Children should be encouraged to use the restroom before entering the water. Immediately report any “accidents” you observe in the bathing waters to a lifeguard.
  8. No animals, except for service animals, shall be allowed in the pool area.
  9. All persons shall shower before entering the water. Children are not permitted to play under the showers.
  10. Conduct which endangers the safety and comfort of others shall be prohibited.

No diving or running and jumping into the pool, running around the deck, horseplay, use of water pistols/super soakers of any size or shape or unnecessary splashing will be permitted in the pool area.

  1. Persons suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol shall be prohibited from entering the water.
  2. Outdoor bathing shall be prohibited during an electrical storm. The Association’s pool company supervisor and/or the board appointed pool liaison or community manager will have the final say as to whether the pool will be open or closed during inclement weather, mechanical failure or any unforeseen problem.

13. Food is permitted in the designated picnic areaonly. NON-ALCOHOLIC

beverages are permitted; however, glass containers are not permitted.

  1. Tables, chairs, and lounges cannot be reserved in advance. Residents may

bring their own chairs and lounges. Items cannot be left in the pool area

overnight.

  1. Proper pool attire is required for pool use (i.e., bathing suits).
  2. Flotation devices, Nerf (sponge-like) balls no larger than 4 inches in

circumference, Frisbees, and inflated objects (tubes) are allowed with the express permission of the lifeguard.

  1. Smoking is NOT permitted inside the pool gate.
  2. Only radios and IPODs with earphones (head sets) are suggested.
