In class we have been talking about a number of bioethical issues, which include:

  • Genetic screening
  • Genetically modified (transgenic) organisms
  • Cloning
  • Embryonic stem cell research

You will pick one of these topics (or another bioethics topic approved by the teacher) to research. In your opinion paper you will:

  • state and explain your bioethics issue
  • describe the technology (5 W’s)
  • explain the ethical concerns
  • develop an argument on where you stand on that particular issue.

Provide facts to back up your argument. Your paper should be around 650-800 words.

You must submit:

  • A title page which includes a title, your name, class and due date
  • 700ish-word opinion paper
  • A bibliography at the end on a separate page (minimum5 sources) done in a correct format
