Who Should Attend
All clinical and professional staff, including physicians, nurses, administrators, senior leaders, managers, and any team or individual with an interest in organizational change.
Purpose
For participants to improve health care value by delivering better outcomes in less time and at lower cost, using data effectively, eliminating healthcare waste and implementing organizational change.
Overall Objectives
At the end of this educational program, participants should be able to:
- Explore how innovative experiments are increasing healthcare value by transforming care delivery and payment systems
- Examine how consumers and employers are driving a healthcare value focus by demanding transparency of cost and quality data
- Employ practical strategies for lean transformation as illustrated by pioneers in the Healthcare Value Network and Clinical Business Intelligence Network
- Discuss new paradigms for healthcare delivery, payment and transparency
- Expand support for lean transformation through facilitated networking
