  1. Call to Order. The meeting was called to order at 7 p.m. by Ms. Meulenbroek.
  1. Approval of Minutes. The minutes from January 8, 2014 were approved with amendments to the discussion to include collaboration between the Planning Department and the Building Zoning and Licensing Department the motion was made by Ms. Jones and seconded by Ms. Keans.
  1. Anthony Ejarque, 45 North Main Street application for Certificate of Approval to hang below for a Publick House sign. Case# HDC 121 – 373 – B1 – 13

The applicant Anthony Ejarque from 45 North Main Street described that this was the sign the hung underneath the Texas Slim Sign that has already been approved by the Historic District Commission. The sign in made of wood with 3 feet by 2.5 feet. The print would be changed to reflect restaurant hours: serving dinner Tuesday-Saturday. The vinyl letters would be white. This would help make the events or live music upstairs available to the public driving by. There are a number of vinyl letter signs in the City including: across the street from Herveys Tire, Ben Franklins, and the Governors Inn. Peter Bruckner suggested that it be a marquee sign on the building or put behind the window. Sandy Keans feels the sign hanging below would take away from the beautiful The Publick House Sign. The hours would be painted red the same color as the sign. The group decided to table this until the applicant submitted application with color, scale, and design of sign the motion was made by Mr. Bruckner and seconded by Ms. Jones.
