No. 946This Indenture made this Seventeenth dat of February one thousand seven hundred and eighty four between Thomas Murry of Rutherford County in the State of North Carolina of the one part and John Qualling of the same county and state aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth, that the said Thomas Murry for and in consideration of the sum of thirty five pounds to him in hand paid before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge himself therewith contented and payed hath given granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth give grant bargain sell alien enfeoff set over and confirm unto the aforesaid John Qualing his heirs executors administrators and assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of land containing one hundred acres be the same more or less situate lying and being in the county and state aforesaid surveyed for Stephen Shilton on the west side of little broad being part of a tract of four hundred acres granted to Martin patent date May the 22nd day 1772, beginning on the bank of the river at the beginning corner of said land surveyed for said Shilton crossing the river westward from thence north fifty six west two hundred and fifty four poles thence North thirty four East to George Williams line belonging to a fifty acres taken of the same four hundred acres of land thence along said Williams line to the river and thence down the river as it meanders to the beginning, including the improvements where John Qualing now lives with the appertainances situate lying and being asforesaid with their and every ot their rights meanders and appurtinances whatsoever thereunto belonging and the reazion and reversions remander on remainders of all and singular the lands and tenements heridiments and premises hereby granted or intended to be granted and of every part and parcel thereof and all rents issues and services and profits to them or any of them or any part or parcel of them or any of them incident belonging or appertaining and also all and every the estate and estate right, titles claims and demands whatsoever of him the said Thomas Murry of or into the said lands tenements hereditamants and premises whatsoever hereby granted or mentioned to be granted as any of them or any part or parcel of them thereof to ?? to hold the said lands tenements heriditaments and premises hereby granted with their appurtainances to the said John Qualing his heirs and assigns forever and the said Thomas Murry for himself his heirs executors administrators and assigns doth hereby promise covenant and agree that he the said Thomas Murry for himself his heirs executors and administrators shall and will at all times warrant and forever defend the said premises to the said John Qualing his heirs and assigns against all lawful claims and demands whatsoever whereby the above mentioned premises might or may be effected or incumbered contrary to the true intent and meaning of these presents.
