CHRISTMAS ALIVE: December 8, 9, 10 at 7:00 PM and on Sunday, December 11 at 4:00 PM. Tickets will be available next Sunday. Cost of tickets: $1.00 for children up to 12 yrs. and $5 for 12 years and older.

NDFY CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON: We will meet at Tony’s Steakhouse and Buffet on December 13 at 1:00 pm. We will order from the menu. As in years past we will fellowship with song and fun together. Sign up with Agnes Bialkowski.

CHURCH OFFICE: The office will be closed on Wednesday afternoon, November 23 through November 25 for Thanksgiving. Submissions for the program need to be in by this Tuesday morning.

NEW EMPLOYEES: The Personnel Committee has hired Lucette Becknall as our new custodian and Jim Webster has been hired to fill the position of Facilities Manager.

WEDNESDAY SUPPER: No Wednesday Supper this coming week. We don’t have anyone signed up to cook on November 30 or December 7. If you are interested please contact Dora at the church office.

awana: AWANAwill be back on November 29. We are in need of items for the AWANA Store.The children earn Awana Bucks for doing extra special work during Awana. They use the AWANA Bucks to purchase items in the Awana store for themselves or as Christmas gifts for their family. We need donations of toys, scarves, gloves, family gift items, books, lip balm,hair accessories, etc.

FBC STICKERS: if you would like an FBC sticker to put on your car or display in a window, we have them in the church office for .25 cents each.

2017 BUDGET AND STATE OF THE CHURCH: On December 4 during the Bible Study hour (9:45 – 10:45 am) we will have a business meeting for the purpose of approving the 2017 church budget. All Adult and youth Sunday School classes will meet in the worship area together on that Sunday. Pastor Eddie will also give a State of the church address.

FREE CHRISTMAS ALIVE TICKETS: Every person who is in Sunday School on December 4 will be given a voucher for a free ticket to Christmas Alive. The vouchers will be passed out at the joint business meeting held in the worship area that day.

MISSION DIGNITY: The NDFY is giving a special Christmas offering for the many retired pastors and/or widows throughout the California Southern Baptist Convention. If you wish to participate put your donation into an offering envelope and write at the top, “Mission Dignity”. We will only accept this offering this Sunday and next Sunday. Thanks for helping.

PHASE 2 RENOVATIONS: If you want to donate to the Phase 2 project, (fellowship building) put your check into a blue envelope or a building fund envelope and be sure to write on the envelope, “Phase 2”.

How Can I Become a Member of This Church?

  • Affirm that you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ for salvation and have been or are willing to be baptized by immersion.
  • Embrace the core beliefs of historic Christianity and are willing to follow the teachings and practices of the church.
  • Commit to being actively involved in serving the Lord in and through the church.
  • Attend a new member’s class to learn about the church’s beliefs, mission, vision and practice.
  • Come forward at the end of any service and talk to one of our pastors or a deacon if you have any questions.
