Entry Fee: $60.00 per team. There will be a $7.00 per person gate admission to the Festival. This includes all activities at the Park. All Players will be given a wristband. If you do not wear it you may be asked numerous times to show it for proof of payment into the festival.
Prize: $60.00 to first place team + Champion T-shirts to winners
T-shirts to 2nd place team.
TOURNAMENT RULES
1. This is a fundraiser for the New London High School Volleyball Team. Please show sportsmanship and act respectful in front of these young ladies. Any player acting in an unsportsmanlike manner or using inappropriate language may be disqualified from the tournament and/ or removed from the park. This includes talking to the official or tournament director.
2. Pool Play and then a double elimination tournament.
3. There will be no delaying of a game. A shagger will chase the ball.
4. Six (6) players or less on the court at one time.
5. A minimum of 2 females on the court at all times
6. Substitution may be made during dead balls. This must be done by signaling the official.
7. Players may not block a serve.
8. Passing, setting, and overhand hits are permitted.
9. Underhand hits will be allowed as long as there is not lifting of the ball. No carrying or palming the ball on overhand hits. These will be judgment calls by officials.
10. Players may step under the net BUT may not interfere with opposing side.
11. Each team must supply their own practice ball. A tournament ball will be provided.
12. Lawn Chairs, Blankets, and coolers are permitted. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES PERMITTED.
13. Each Team is permitted 1 time-out per game. The time out will last thirty seconds (30).
14. Three hits per side.
15. No player is permitted to touch the net during play or while the ball is being served.
16. No player may hit the ball twice in succession.
17. The score will be kept by an official scorekeeper and posted at all times.
18. The net is set at 7’9”
19. Net serve is legal.
20. If a player has a question, only the team captain may approach the officials to address the question.
21. Prior to each game, a coin toss will decide serve or side.
22. Teams must be ready to begin within 10 minutes of the completion of the previous game or the game will be forfeited. Your Captain will have 5 minutes to report for the coin toss or that team will forfeit the game.
23. All additional rules will be explained at check-in.
24. All games will be rally scoring to 21 You must win by 2 with a cap of 27.Third game to 15 , straight up.
25. You may use your whole body for contact with the ball.
26. ONCE THE TOURNAMENT HAS STARTED NO ONE CAN BE ADDED TO ROSTER.

1. I have read the rules; I agree to accept the decision of the Judges as final; and I assume the risk of the condition of the grounds and track in their “as is” condition.
2. I understand and appreciate the dangers, hazards and risks inherent in participating in this type of activity; and I further acknowledge that all such risks, and potential losses, damage or injury may not presently be known and cannot be determined; but it is my express intent that this assumption of risk by me applies to any and all such unknown risks, damages, losses and injuries.
3. As an express condition of, and in consideration of, being permitted to participate in this activity, on behalf of myself, my family, heirs, and personal representative(s), I hereby agree to assume all the risks and responsibilities surrounding my participation in this activity; and, in advance, I hereby release, waive, forever discharge, and covenant not to sue the Village of New London, Ohio, its Council, its Park Board, its officers, agents, and employees, the Producer, the Sponsor, and all of their associated entities, agents, and employees (collectively, the “Releasees”) from and against any and all liability for any harm, damage, claim, demand, action, cause of action, cost or expense of any nature that I may have or that may hereafter accrue to me, arising out of or related to any loss, damage or injury, including but not limited to physical injury, suffering or death, that may be sustained by me or by any property belonging to me, whether based in tort, contract, or public policy, in connection with my participation in this activity. It is my express intent that this Release shall be deemed a release, waiver, discharge and covenant not to sue the Releasees to the fullest extent allowed by law. I further agree to save and hold harmless, indemnify, and defend Releasees from any claim by me or my family arising out of my participation in this activity.
