Mud Volleyball Contest

Rules and Regulations
- Waivers forms must be signed and turned in for each player at registration.
- There will be 4 players per team.
- Entry fee will be $30 per team (does not include gate fee) and is non-refundable.
- There will be 2 divisions consisting of 10-15 years of age and 16 years and older. If 2 members of a team are 16 or older then the team must participate in the older division.
- Divisions will be capped as registrations are received as follows: 12 teams for the 10-14 age group and 28 teams for the 16 and up age group.
- Tournament format: A single elimination tournament format with each match being one game to 15 points, win by two or 20 points (the first team to 20 points). Rally scoring will be used. A point is awarded on each serve.
- Warm-up time will be limited. Matches will start as soon as teams are present and ready to go.
- Shoes are to be worn by all participants. No cleats allowed.
- Shirt and shorts must be worn by all participants. No white T-shirts.
- Hits do not have to alternate between the two sexes. The ball cannot be blocked or spiked on the serve.
- Prizes will be awarded to the winning teams.
- All the official’s decisions are final. NO ARGUING! Any harassment from a team or participant towards the official may cause the elimination of that team or person from further participation.
- Teams are to bring their own towels to clean off. Games will not be delayed to spray off mud.
- NO ONE ALLOWED IN OTHER AREAS OF THE FAIR WITH WET CLOTHES.
Outside showers are available, bring change of clothes.
- All players play at their own risk. Not responsible for lost items.

I hereby release the Vanderburgh County 4-H Center, its member association and all other sponsoring organizations from any claim I (or my son/daughter) may have by reason of damages or injuries sustained while participating in the Vanderburgh County Mud Volleyball contest.
In the event that I (or son/daughter) should for any reason require any medical treatment and/ or any medication during the course of the participation in this event, I authorize such physician or medical staff as may be appointed or designated to carry out the necessary treatment.
No one allowed in other areas of the fair with wet or muddy clothes.
Outside shower area will be available, bring change of clothes
