This Order disposes of the captioned application of Shri Inder Veer Singh Dagur, 03/117, Vipul Khand, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow-226010 seeking information under the RTI Act, 2005, received by the office of Central Public Information Officer (CPIO), SIDBI on April 15, 2013. The information seeker has sought the methodology adopted by SIDBI in recruitment, selection and appointment to the post of Asst. Security Officer Gr. “A”, a certified copy of the advertisement for the said post in 1994, requested for providing citified copy of the applications of all the applicants & certified copy of the marks obtain and how many vacancies were there for he post of Astt. Security Officer Gr. “A” etc.
The said application is disposed of, as under:-

The information seeker is informed that the SIDBI didn’t conduct any recruitment specifically / separately for the post of Asst. Security Officer Gr ‘A’ in the year 1994.
- Information in respect of Sl. No. 8 of the application:
With respect to Sl. No. 8 of the application, it is informed that records relating to recruitment for the post of Asst. Security Officer Gr ‘A’redesignted as Asst. Manager (Security) Gr “A” in 1996 (as stated in the RTI application) are not available with exception of office note dated 19.11.1996, which contains the personal information of third party, disclosure of which has no relation to any public activity and information is also held by SIDBI in fiduciary capacity and, therefore,exempted under section 8(1) (e) and (j) of the RTI Act. Further, in view of the decisions of CIC;details of successful candidates in such competitive examination may be disclosed to candidate(s)who is/are unsuccessful. In the instant case, it is not mentioned in the captioned RTI application that information seeker was a candidate for the said examination conducted in 1996. In the absence of such details, the requested information is third party information and is exempted as stated above.
