The Georgia Dairy Goat Breeders Association invites you and we look forward to your competing in the GA DGBA’s 40thAnnual Open Dairy Goat Show in Monroe, GA. We invite all ADGA, CGS AGS registered goat owners to participate.
We are hosting a Nigerian Dwarf Specialty show!
We’ve had many good comments from the club exhibitors about the facility. We have clean restroom accommodations, plenty of parking & turning around space & an open-side covered double-ring with pen space, all under the same barn roof! Hope you'll come and be with us! We’ll have a good time!
The show is centrally located in North Georgia – it’s at the Walton County Agricultural Education Center in Monroe, Georgia. Access to the facility is very easy – it’s just 3-4 miles South of Monroe, off GA 11 - at 1208 Criswell Road, SE, Monroe, GA30655. If you have access to the Internet & would like to get an expanded map of the area, go to & do a search for the address given above. There are several motels in the area.
We’ll have a Showmanship & our 2-ring shows on Saturday, April22nd. Judges for the shows are Anne ClagettTim Flicklinger.
We’re having an adult showmanship class; and on Friday evening we’ll be having a showmanship training session.
Each show will have a separately sanctioned senior, junior & buck show. Please note that group classes are included, but not duplicated in each ring. Winners will receive awards, ribbons and goodie buckets.
A pot-luck meal on Friday night & a hospitality breakfast on Saturday morning. The Walton Co. 4-H group will be selling food most of the day.
We're also publishing a show book! We would appreciate the advertisement of your herd or business in this booklet - whether or not you are an exhibitor in the show! It will list breed sponsors, show classes, ring events & other show information. This is a great opportunity for you to showcase your farm & at a reasonable price! Only $5.00 for a business card or $10.00 per page.
