Objectives and Motivation

Machine learning, which is one of the sub-domains of artificial intelligence, aims to automatically extract and exploit information presented in a data set. It covers a wide range of objectives such as data mining, unsupervised classification, variable selection, discrimination, regression, model selection, rule generation, inference, and so on. It has also proved to be highly multidisciplinary since, according to the data and its objectives, automatic learning relies on computer science, neurosciences, signal processing, cognitive sciences, information theory, biology , statistics, etc.

Scope and Interests

This session is an opportunity for leading academicians, engineers, scientists, researchers, industrial professionals and students from around the world to network and has scientific discussions on the latest developments in the fields of Data Mining and Big Data Analytics. This session is also organized to invite them to submit unpublished and original works, but it is not limited to the following topics:

Regression/Classification:

§  Time series forecasting

§  Segmentation/Clustering/Association

§  Explorative and visual data mining
