For Be Myself, Crow worked once again with producer, musician, and songwriter Jeff Trott, a long-time collaborator throughout her career. Trott co-wrote many of Crow’s classic hits including “If It Makes You Happy” and “My Favorite Mistake.” To celebrate their musical partnership, the two have teamed up to record “Sheryl Crow & Jeff Trott: The History of Us” — a track-by-track commentary of 30 songs they’ve worked on together throughout their careers, including “Halfway There” and “Long Way Back,” as well as songs from Sheryl Crow, The Globe Sessions, C’mon C’mon, Wildflower, Detours, and Feels Like Home. An American music icon, Crow has released eight studio albums, which have sold 35 million copies worldwide. Seven of them charted in the Top 10 and five were certified for multi-platinum sales.
