Services / Fee / Description / Notes
Standard Billing Rate / TBD / Rate to be determined based on meetings with BWSR.
WCA Wetland Delineation / $75.00 plus $40.00/lot / Provide maps, report, and flagged wetland boundaries (not surveyed) for private individuals in the unincorporated areas of the County. Applications are processed through the Sherburne County Zoning Office. Copies are given to the applicant and Zoning forwards a copy to the TEP panel.
WCA Wetland Delineations
Public Roads and Parks / No Charge / Provide maps, report and flagged wetland boundaries (not surveyed) for road and park projects in unincorporated areas of the County. These are usually done for the County Public Works, County Parks, and Townships.
WCA Wetland Determinations/
Restoration Orders / No Charge / Includes on-site wetland determinations, wetland types, and needed investigation of WCA violations and other responsibilities outlines in the WCA. Also includes review of delineations and monitoring plans submitted by others.
Prairie / Pasture Planting with Truax or Vicon Seeders / $35.00/acre ($50.00 minimum) / May include site preparation for sites enrolled in SWCD and BWSR Conservation Programs
Special Project Planting / Ask for Bid / For cost-shared programs such as CRP, Sherburne County PF, food plots, cover crops, and pollinators. Subject to environmental benefits and land owner reimbursements.
Machine Tree Planting
0 - 500 trees
501 > trees / $250.00 seedlings
$.45 per seedling after initial 500 / Machine planting of bare root and seedlings up to 14” tall. Tree planter is rented from DNR office in Zimmerman
Forest Stewardship Plan / $400.00 / Class 2c Managed Forest Land requires a forest management plan to receive a reduced property tax rate. Plan preparation and review conducted by SWCD staff. Landowner submits plan to DNR for approval.
Tree Inspections / Site Visits / No Charge / Assist public and private landowners with forest management and tree care questions. Consultations provide land managers and homeowners with diagnosis of the problem and options for solutions.
Weed ID Guide / $7.95 plus tax / A guide developed for identification and control in Lake shore stabilizations, raingardens, and any native plantings
