General Membership Meeting

Ø  Welcome: Jessica called the meeting to order at 18:01

Ø  Adoption of minutes: Motion to start meeting by Kimberly Wannemacher/2nd vote by Kelli Kelley/motion approved

Ø  Announcements: None

Ø  New and Farewells:

  1. New Members – Melanie Lindsey
  2. Guests – Kelli Matusik, Shawna, Sarah
  3. Farewell – Jamie Mandeville farewell card and Hobby Lobby gift card, Kimberly Wannemacher farewell card and Starbucks gift card

Ø  Committee Reports:

  1. Social –Fern – January Bunco, February and March to be determined
  2. Hospitality – Tori– No report
  3. Publicity – Jessica Donovan (until position is filled) – Open – AFRC needs more fliers for Heartlink
  4. Ways & Means – Open – In charge of fundraising. Also will work with anyone that would like to POC a fundraiser.
  5. Thrift Shop – Open – Operated by the ESC/OSC. Wednesdays from 10:00-14:00 and the 1st Saturday of every month from 10:00-14:00 are the ESC days/times to operate the shop. The consigner hours are from 10:00-12:30 and volunteers have first pick on anything consigned. NEED VOLUNTEERS ON WEDNESDAYS.
  6. Membership – Jessica Donovan (until position is filled) – Open – Keep a updated roaster and welcome new members/guests.

Ø  Executive Board Report:

  1. Parliamentarian – Debbie Nelson – No Report
  2. Secretary – Kimberly Wannemacher leaving and Bridgett Mason will be stepping in as Secretary
  3. Treasure – (Bridgett Mason now secretary) Ellie Domes voted in 9 Yes 0 No and 0 Abstains.
  4. Vice President – Theresa Kristek – Relay for Life team to be determined due to lack of volunteers and participation. Burkburnett Relay scheduled May 16 and Wichita Falls Relay will be June 13. We will decide in February which Relay to participate in and whether or not we will be doing a joint team with the OSC. More to come via email. T-shirt sales still going on but sold out of Pink Larges.

  3. General Kindsvater stopped in and took questions/concerns. A short meet and greet with our membere J
  4. Thrift Shop volunteers needed on Wednesdays 10-2 and 1st Saturday of each month consignments are 10-12:30 each day we are open
  5. Scholarship Committee formation tonight-get your name to Jess or Theresa if interested
  6. Thrift shop by laws, luncheon, and new manager
  7. Spouse town hall meetings with Gen. Kindsvater-WF police will have heavier presence in Freedom Estates, rat issue being dealt with
  8. Budget review in February
