GRADING:

Use the online gradebook to keep up-to-date on grades. In addition, use the assignment calendar in the classroom and on my web page to keep informed of current and upcoming activities and assignments.

A point grading system is used. Each assessment, whether it is classwork, homework, a quiz, an exam, a project, etc., is worth a specified number of points. At the end of each marking period, a student’s accumulated points will be divided by the number of total points possible.

WEEKLY ASSIGNMENT SHEETS:

Weekly assignment sheets are distributed in homeroom at the beginning of each week. Assignments are recorded daily. If there isn’t an assignment, what we do in class that day will be recorded and it will be indicated that there is no homework.

Weekly assignment sheets will be checked at the end of each week and periodically graded. If an assignment sheet is lost, extras are available in the classroom or one can be downloaded from my web page.

When absent, use the Make-Up Work bulletin board to copy assignments missed.
