The facility is a 6 lane 25 meter pool with Kiefer starting blocks, non-turbulent lane lines, and Colorado timing. There is on-deck viewing for approximately 150 spectators and the gym will be used for waiting and marshaling areas. Parking is available at the venue in two adjacent lots.

Entry Deadline: / •Entries must be received via e-mail in Meet Manager (zipped .hy3, .cl2 files) format no later than 6pm November 15th, 2017.
•All entries will be accepted on a first-come basis
•Entries must be sent to the Meet Director as above.
•Entries will be acknowledged within 12hrs via e-mail.
•No deck entries will be accepted.
•No phone or faxed entries will be accepted.
•Team entries will be considered accepted when the host club accepts the entries.
•Meet Entries will be taken until the meet fills. The host club must stay within the four hour per session rule.
Meet Format
Waiver: / The host club has the right to change the format of the meet with the approval of the sanctioning Committee. These changes would be made for a more efficient swim meet for the swimmers and the host club. Reasons for these changes could be the following:
•To allow more swimmers to swim.
•To conform to facility capacity limits.
•To conform with Sanction Guidelines:
•No competition before 7:30a.m. or after 9:00 p.m.
•Warm-up with no more than 15 swimmers/lane 12-Under (25 minute minimum)
•Refunds will be given for any events that have changed session from time of entry to start of competition

Coaches Eligibility: / •All coaches must be certified YMCA Coaches
•Coaches must show coaching card for entrance to facility.
•Coaches must have coaching card visible at all times while on deck.
•Coaches must have a visible coach’s card when entering hospitality area.
Swimmer Eligibility: / YMCA of the USA Rules For Eligibility shall apply
Age Groups that will be offered.
•There will be 8 & under, 9-10, 11-12 and 13 and Over Events.
•There are no time standards being used in this meet.
•NT’s will be allowed
Individual:
•The Sanction Committee only allows swimmers to compete in 3 individual events per session/day.
Age at Meet:
•Age for this meet is calculated as of : December 1, 2016
. / •This meet will be run in accordance to current USA Swimming Rules.
•This meet will be run as a timed final meet.
•The USA Swimming scratch rule will be in effect.
•This meet will be deck seeded with coaches checking in/scratching all swimmers. When the seeding has been posted, swimmers will report to the blocks.
•Swimmers will be marshaled in the YMCA gym and brought to the blocks before each event.
Meet Schedule: / •The Greater Morristown YMCA will open at 4:30 p.m. the day of Session 1
• Session 2 at 6:00 a.m.
•This meet will have 4 sessions consisting of a warm-up session and competition session.

Procedures: / •Warm-ups will be run under New Jersey Swimming Warm-up and Safety Guidelines. Warm-ups will consist of general warm-up lanes.
•All swimmers are entitled to a fair and comparable warm-up. All teams MUST get the same opportunities for general warm-up lanes.
•No lanes shall contain more swimmers than is deemed “safe” by USA Swimming Guidelines.
•Warm-up with no more than 15 swimmers/lane 12-Under (25 minute minimum)
Entry into Pool:
•All swimmers must enter the pool from the starting end of the pool, right side of the lane, feet- first entry.

Host Team Monitoring Warm-ups.
•Designated meet marshals will monitor warm-ups.
•All general warm-up lanes will swim in a counterclockwise direction.
Warm-up Schedules.
•The warm-up sessions will be 20-minute warm-ups divided by teams.

Entry Times: / •All entry times will be accepted. All entry times will be converted to Short Course Meters for seeding purposes.
•All entry times must be in short course meters.
Check-In: / •All check-in sheets must be turned into the scoring table 30 minutes before the start of each session. Swimmers that are swimming will have a line through their name. Swimmers that are being scratched will have their names circled with a “SCR” next to the circle. Swimmers scratching a single event will have a line through his/her name and the event number circled with “SCR” next to the circle.
Starts: / •The host club will determine if overhead starts will be used, (as a last resort,) after a time line has been produced. This information will be e-mailed and posted in the pre-meet information.
Awards: / •Medals will be awarded to the top 3 swimmers in each individual event.
•Ribbons will be awarded to the 4th through 6th place swimmers in each individual event.

Entries: / •In accordance with policy, team entries may be submitted by E-mail to:
•All entries must be Hy-Tek program entries sent as an attachment to an e-mail.
•The meet entry coordinator will respond to e-mail entries within 12 hours. If you do not receive an e-mail response within 12 hours, assume that your email has not been received. It is the participating club’s responsibility to make sure that the host club's meet entry coordinator receives the e-mail. If you do not receive an e-mail response, you must contact the entry coordinator by email or phone.
•An entry summary with a signed YMCA Swimming waiver and a check must accompany or follow each e-mailed entry.
•Accuracy of seed times is essential. Incomplete entries will not be accepted.
•Deck entries will not be accepted. No phone or faxed entries will be accepted.
Results: / •All Teams will be asked on the meet summary whether they want results mailed or e-mailed.
•Results will (also) be returned to the e-mail address that entries were received from.
•Meet Director will copy results to Team-supplied removable media if desired following conclusion of the meet.
Host Club
Responsibilities: / •The host club will provide a single timer in each lane throughout the meet.
•The host club will have stopwatches available for volunteers helping to time.
•The host club will e-mail all club entries back to the participating clubs.
•The host club will create a warm-up schedule that will be fair and equal to all teams. This warm-up schedule will be e-mailed to all participating clubs and posted on the website: no later than 3 days before the meet.
•The host club will create timing assignments that are fair and equitable with as many teams participating as possible. These timing assignments will be e-mailed to all participating clubs and posted on the host club website no later than 3 days before the meet.
Participating Club
Responsibilities: / •Participating clubs must help with timing assignments. Timing assignments will be e-mailed to participating clubs and posted on the swim meet website: 3 days prior to the meet.
•Participating club parents must stay off the pool deck except for timing assignments.
•Participating clubs should help with officiating whenever possible. List the club contact for club officials on the meet summary.
PLEASE HAVE YOUR SWIMMERS/PARENTS PLACE A TOWEL UNDER THEIR CHAIRS IN THE GYM.
Concessions: / Refreshments will be available at the Dolphin Café located in the Gym.
Vendor: / California Beach Hut will be in attendance on Sunday 11/26/17 to supply swimming gear.

Route 287 South to Exit 36 (Ridgedale Avenue).
Bear sharp right at first exit on ramp onto Ridgedale Ave.
