Services Agreement for Wall & Floor Tiler

Important:

This Services Agreement should only be used as a guide only; and it is highly recommended to read through the Terms & Conditions thoroughly and edit any sections to suit your specific requirements.

As an ATA Member, you have the right to save, edit and distribute this document via any method, to your clients. However, you do not have the right to provide a copy of this document, by any method whatsoever, to any other person, who is not considered a client.

Once you are satisfied with the final document and are ready to send it to your client, please:

  1. Remove this cover page
  2. Ensure the area for the client’s initials is located at the bottom of each page, where appropriate
  3. Save the document in PDF format, to ensure that no changes can be made by the other Party.

  1. TERMS & CONDITIONS
  1. This Agreement overrides any contract or purchase order provided by the Client/Builder.
  1. The Agreement will come into effect immediatelyon signing or as soon as any work, which has been approved by the Client, has commenced; and will continue unless varied or reviewed by the Contractor.
  1. Both Parties will conduct all work toin a professional manor and ensure compliance with the Australian Standards;and maintain all relevant insurances and OH&S requirements.
  1. The Clientwillinform the Contractor, within 7 days prior to commencement of any work or project, ofany changes or specifications that must be adhered to.
  1. Upon completion of any work or project, the Client agrees to notify the Contractor,within 7 days, of any discrepancies.
  1. The Contactor is not responsible for any discrepancies, defects or delays caused by other workers, not associated, employed or hired by the Contractor; or for any matters out of the Contractor’s control.
  1. The Contractor will be free to enter into contracts with third parties for the provision of services by the Contractor to the Client while this Agreement is in force.
  1. The Property of each party prior to entering into this agreement shall remain the property of that party.
  1. PAYMENT
  1. The Client agrees to pay the Contractor within 7 days of the receipt of an invoice detailing the work successfully completed.
  1. Accounts overdue will incur interest at 18 % on overdue amounts; and any costs, legal fees and collection fees incurred will be payable by the Client.
  1. The Client agrees to pay for the Services provided by the Contractor, in accordance withthe Schedule of Rates, detailed in Section 4 of this Agreement.

The rates below are based on a standard volume built home with a good level of concrete.

We may charge extra for any other work required in order to complete the job. Extras will incur further charges separate to the rates above. These may include any of the following:

  • Unquoted items

  • Grinding slab

  • Porcelain tiles

  • Screed base

  • Small tiles

  • Chrome trim corner edge for niche’s/baths etc.

  • Feature tiles

  • Striped boarder tiles

  • Uneven concrete

  • Unsafe job site

  • Other waterproofing

  • Working at heights

  • Removing waste, water or building materials

  • Lost time, due to job not ready as scheduled
