The CEO retains operational and administrative oversight of all system operations, thereby ensuring its financial and legal integrity. He/She fosters a culture of collaboration and innovation within and between the special needs consumers, the provider community and the staff of SERV. As the senior leader for SERV, the CEO ensures that SERV operational protocols are in alignment with the strategic objectives of the organization and that employees are continually informed and included in those processes to maximize individual contributions to the mission.

Leadership-maintains a senior management group that focuses on the best interest of the system as a whole while showing an understanding of the role of each subsidiary organization and the individuals responsible for that organization;

Entrepreneurship- creatively visualizes and communicates SERV’s future place and enhanced value amongst its constituents and within the communities it serves; recognizes, devises and implements the sustainable requirements for long-term success and industry preeminence;

Credibility- demonstrates honesty, sincerity, humility, and respect; Judgment- recognizes the consequences of actions; accurately assesses the environment; applies appropriate discretion; draws upon relevant experience.

Requirements:

Completion of a Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited University in one of the health professions and/or a Master’s in Public Administration.

Ten years in an executive role in a healthcare entity which is publically funded/3rd party payer reliant.

Demonstrated competency and creativity in strategic planning, finance, marketing, community/government relations, and health care management.

Prior history of entrepreneurial expansion of business models and results.
