Seniors, would you like to personalize your Parking Spot?

Come have fun with your friends and show your Sachse spirit and class pride by painting on your own personal cement canvas! The proceeds from this project will go to the Senior Class of 2016! There are only 96 spaces that will be sold for this fundraiser!!

·  First, come to SHS on August 6th, 2015- 7:30-11 AM, to purchase your parking space. Make sure you ask for a painting approved spot (rows A-D). Spaces are limited and will be sold on a first come, first served basis. Seniors who are NOT painting their parking space will choose from rows E- N.

·  Next purchase your painting permit for just $40 at the next table. (Cash or checks payable to SHS Class of 2016).

·  Then sketch your design on the form to submit for approval. Examples of appropriately painted spaces are on the current parking lot, but are in the process of being removed.

·  Sketches will only be approved on August, 6th during parking sales, 14th (8am-12pm), and 15th (8am-12pm).

Guidelines for your sketch:

Think of your parking spot as a t-shirt that you want to wear to school. Your spot must be in dress code - so no references to drugs, alcohol, smoking, gangs, etc. Keep it Classy! You can use your name, include your jersey number, instrument you play, or favorite hobbies. Your spot should be fun and reflect who you are.

Paint Requirements:

·  Paint must be latex "liquid" paint, no aerosol cans, etc.

·  Must only use the three Sachse colors (navy orange and white) in any combination. Acceptable colors are: Home Depot's Glidden Rich Navy, Home Depot's Glidden Fiesta Orange, Sherwin William's Loyal Blue, Sherwin William's Obstinate Orange, and white. No mixing of the three colors to produce new shades will be permitted, but you may use all three Sachse colors in your design.

What to bring on paint day:

·  your proof of parking permit purchase from Sachse High School

·  your sketch to turn in for approval before painting if not already approved

·  paint and paint brushes or rollers

·  masking tape or painter's tape to tape off the lines around your spot and the parking space number before you start painting

·  broom to sweep off parking space and clean-up supplies

·  no air or airless paint sprayers permitted

No Refunds after you have painted your spot. If you paint something inappropriate on your spot, it will be painted over and you will not receive a refund. No touch-ups, repainting, etc. after August 21st.

Painting Days and times - choose what works best for your schedule.

Remember to account for drying time for connecting colors

·  Friday, August 14th from 8am-12pm and 2pm-8pm

·  Saturday, August 15th from 8am-5pm

·  Sunday, August 16th from 1pm-7pm

·  THESE ARE THE ONLY PAINTING DATES AND TIMES!
