JOB DESCRIPTION

The Department of Human Services is seeking experienced ICT Senior Project Managers to support a major transformationprogramme. Key activities will be focussed around supporting BAU operations aswell as mobilisation of the next tranche of projects.

The roles will work within the Integrated Programme Office and/or the Office ofthe GM, WPIT ICT, and will coordinate activities with team members, and/or theproject team responsible for mobilising new projects and executing activeprojects.

The Senior Project Managers (ICT) will be required to lead discovery, planningand initiation activities for ICT projects, and/or business projects with ICT input,with a view to leading delivery where applicable.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Essential skills and experience

  1. Delivering highly complex, ICT projects within a broader programme environment where multiple interdependencies exist and a core focus on customer experience
  2. Ability to span both agile and traditional project delivery methodologies
  3. Highly developed stakeholder engagement and management skills
  4. Highly developed communications and organisation skills
  5. Hold qualifications in project/programme management.
