Senior HR Manager

Location: South Bank, London

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)

Working hours: Full time, 35 hours a week

Coin Street Community Builders (CSCB) is a social enterprise and our aim is to create an inspirational neighbourhood. CSCB has transformed a largely derelict 13-acre site into a thriving mixed-use neighbourhood by creating new co-operative homes; shops, galleries, restaurants, cafes and bars; a park and riverside walkway; sports facilities; by organising festivals and events; and by providing childcare, family support, learning, and enterprise support programmes. Income is generated from a variety of sources including the hire of retail and catering spaces, event spaces, meeting room spaces and conference venue spaces as well as the provision of consultancy services.

We have an exciting opportuning for a HR professional to join our small and friendly HR team. This role offers an experienced HR generalist the opportunity to provide a comprehensive HR service to employees, including the management and leadership team, and to promote best practice across the organisation.

This is a truly hands on HR position so we are looking for someone who ishighly motivated, CIPD qualified and possesses a strong awareness of operational HR issues. The HR team is small and as well as operational responsibility we are also looking for someone who can support the Director of Human resources with the more strategic aspects, including a number of long-term projects, deputising in their absence when required.

The successful candidate will be highly skilled and comfortable with all aspects of generalist HR, including employee relations, learning and development and talent management. You will possess strong influencing skills, and be confident in the calibre of the advice you give to both employees and senior managers. You will be a proactive, creative individual that is results driven and who is confident in your ability to build trust and respect with colleagues.
