ABSTRACT

Pictures: Include at least three pictures of the team working in the project. Please show pictures that illustrate the idea of the project.

Please write a paragraph detailing: Project status.

As of right now, our gesture recognition device is able to control a mouse on a laptop. Using Eeonyx Resistive material and Conductive Fabric we were able to create a circuit that allowed a touchpad to be born with the simple touch from fabric. After being able to implement this, trying to recreate different outputs will allow us to add different commands to the system. We believe we will be able to have a design finishes by the demonstration date as long as progress continues to move forward smoothly

Please write a paragraph detailing: Expectation of project completion by the demonstration date.

Project completion by the demonstration date is going to be determined by how fast we can solve the hurdle that I have explained below. The noise in the system is proving to be a problem and we wont be able to get accurate results until this problem is fixed. We believe we will have overcome this obstacle by the demonstration date and have a completely working design

Please write a paragraph detailing: What are your main worries at this time?

As of right now our biggest worry is the amount of noise in our system. When trying to use the touchpad we can see that it moves the mouse but in erroneous directions. In order to prevent this we have added tubing to our threads and will include some instrumentation amplifiers to reduce the noise as well.

Team Members Participation

Every teammate in our group has participated sufficiently and all have put in their part in order to get to were we are today. All of our teammates have put forth maximum teammates and we are all leaders which contribute great ideas and how to move forward with our design
