2.  Introduction of Counselors

a.  Mr. Cruz – Seniors with last names beginning A - F

b.  Mrs. Smith – Seniors with last names beginning G - O

c.  Mrs. Porter – Seniors with last names beginning P – Z

d.  Mrs. Meskunas – College & Career Counselor

3.  Senior Class Secretary – Mrs. Turner will speak to the students about need for secretary & voting

a.  Complete packet for Senior Class Secretary and turn in to Mrs. Turner (D219) by Monday, August 17, 2015

4.  Introductions of Senior Class Officers

a.  President – Naylor Mayfield (will speak on behalf of senior class at graduation)

b.  Vice-President – Tucker Pearson

c.  Secretary – TBD

d.  Treasurer – Joey Manzo

5.  Introductions of Executive Officers

6.  Homecoming

a.  Parade is Thursday, September 24, 2015 (Mr. Overcash is leading event)

b.  Game is Friday, September 25, 2015 against Mountain Brook High School (Mrs. Alexander & Mrs. Riggins leading event)

c.  Dance is Saturday, September 26, 2015 (Mrs. Vaughn is leading event)

7.  ACT Test date is Saturday, September 12, 2015

a.  Registration Deadline has already past

b.  Remember to bring your valid ID and admission ticket

c.  If you do not have valid ID see ACT website or your counselor for Student Identification Letter.

d.  Do NOT wait until the last minute if you need ID letter.

8.  Senior Graduation Fees (REQUIRED) $75.00 due Tuesday, February 1, 2016

a.  Payment should be made to Balfour, not JCHS

b.  Balfour will make several visits to JC during the school year.

c.  Fee includes cap, gown, tassel, diploma jacket and diploma

9.  Senior Fees (OPTIONAL) $35.00 price increases January 1, 2016, last day to pay Monday, February 29, 2016

a.  Senior barbeque (Whitt’s Barbeque) Friday, April 22, 2016

b.  Senior breakfast (Chick-Fil-A) Thursday, April 28, 2016

c.  Senior t-shirt (We need a design for the senior class t-shirt)

d.  You can send all designs to Ms. Bentley @ or see me in A223.

10.  Senior Trip (OPTIONAL) $125.00 includes transportation, admission, one meal inside Six Flags, and t-shirt (You will need money for food traveling to and from Six Flags

a.  Saturday, April 16, 2016 to Six Flags

b.  Details will be complete by next Senior Class meeting

c.  Students that have behavior issues will not be able to attend the trip
