LIMITED WARRANTY RECEIPT FORM
Be advised that the builder will assume no responsibility for:
(A) Altering of your lawn and yard grades, as they have been established in accordance with engineering requirements of the city or county and improper use of top soil or fill may cause drainage complications.
(B) Loss or damage caused after occupancy in any way by the elements, condensation or the expansion or contraction of materials.
(C) Any damage caused by the occupants in the process of moving into the home, natural wear and tear of occupancy, carelessness and/or neglect on the part of the occupants or by addition to, or alterations of the premises.
The various items of mechanical equipment (ventilation fans, dishwasher, garbage disposal, water heater, furnace, range, oven, air conditioner, microwave, etc.) are covered by a manufacturer warranty. In case of a malfunction, we suggest you refer to the manufacturer instruction booklets before contacting the supplier.
We realize that cracks in concrete, masonry, stucco, interior walls, ceilings, moldings, door/window trim, baseboards etc. may develop from natural causes beyond the control of the seller or builder, who under such circumstances is not liable for these cracks. We have provided a paint kit for your homeowner maintenance.
The homeowner acknowledges receipt of the Limited Warranty Manual and agrees to its terms and conditions. Homeowner acknowledges the Limited Warranty sets forth the coverage provided by Northwest Homes, explains the procedures for obtaining warranty service and describes Homeowner responsibilities for maintaining new home.
Homeowner further acknowledges and agrees that the Limited Warranty is extended to the original buyer and automatically terminates when a resale occurs, it is not transferable to subsequent buyer of the home. The builder will warrant the residence for one (1) year against defective materials and/or workmanship.
I (we) hereby declare that in the company of a representative of Northwest Homes (seller/builder). I (we) inspected and accept the residential property at with only those exceptions agreed upon and noted on the walk-through list. We further declare that we have read this notice and understand and agree to its contents.
