In order for us to ensure your individual timetable meets your specific needs we ask that you identify and rank the activities you would prefer. Your first preference should be numbered as 1, second as 2 etc. We will endeavour to fulfill all of your preferences (this is dependant upon prior bookings and staff on the date/s you are visiting us).

Abseiling / Are you brave enough to lean out from our abseiling tower, putting all your trust in the rope? Abseiling is a great personal development activity. You challenge yourself to get to the bottom as gracefully as possible whilst the rest of the group cheer you on!
Adventure Course / A fantastic way to get children working as a team. This course enables them to make decisions and communicate with each other to get over a series of obstacles and challenges An excellent activity to allow teamwork to take a strong role. (self lead)
Archery / A chance to learn a skill that requires concentration, a steady hand and measuring of distance and power.
Bell Boats / A cross between dragon boating and canoeing with up to 12 people in each boat a great way to develop teamwork, coordination and leadership.
Bird of Prey Centre / As well as being able to get close to birds of prey there are daily demonstrations based at Leaplish Waterside Park
Campcraft / Learn the skills to light fires and cook outdoors, developing responsibility and self reliance in a fun way.
Canoeing / Teamwork and communication will be developed as pairs take control of their own canoe. A great way to experience and learn more about the environment.
Climbing / Both indoor and outdoor as you move up the wall you will feel confidence growing as you pus for the summit on one of our purpose-built climbs.
Crate Stacking / Balance, confidence and pushing yourself to the limit as the stack gets higher holding your nerve becomes the key to success.
Dinghy Sailing / Learn the basics and take the helm of a small sailing dinghy under the supervision of a Centre Instructor.
Hareshaw Linn and Heritage Centre at Bellingham / Stop off at Bellingham on your way to the centre, walk up a wooded valley to a beautiful waterfall at Hareshaw Linn. Enjoy Bellingham Heritage Centre the museum for the ruggedly beautiful and historic North Tyne and Redewater area of Northumberland.
Hike Routes / We have a number of hike routes available in and around the centre, all designed to allow you and your group to take in the wonderful surrounding countryside. We have something for every group.
Kayaking / We offer introductory kayaking sessions where your group will learn basic paddle strokes before testing their balance with some team games.
Launch Trips / Experience a journey in our launch boat captained by a Centre Instructor.
Night Line / How much do we rely on our senses? Explore this through a number of games and challenges.
Orienteering / A great opportunity for young people to experience decision making in a team situation. Basic navigation skills are learnt in finding the various markers around the course.
Pioneering / A great way to develop teamwork, communication and logistical skills. With a large store and plenty of ideas groups can build anything from giant gateways to swings.
Pond Dipping / Take your group hunting for pond life use viewing trays and nets and discuss and identify what they find.
Raft Building / The team builds a raft to carry them across the water while developing communication, teamwork and logistical skills. The amount of instructor input on design and build depends on the individual group leader's requirements.
Rowing Boats / Learn the basics under the supervision of a Centre Instructor.
Shelter Building / Learn the skills to build shelters outdoors, developing responsibility and team building a fun way.
Team Building / A number of problems and tasks to get your group really working together.
