Selectmen Matson called the meeting to order at 4:55 p.m.

Chairman Matson MOVED to postpone the approval of Selectmen’s meeting minutes from February 6, 2017 SECOND Selectmen Bailey VOTE unanimous

Dave LaPointe from Maintenance at Monadnock Regional High School – An inspection needs to be done at Troy School by the Health Officer. The Select Board will call and set-up an appointment for a walk through of the school.

Transfer Station bond payment on operating budget Warrant Article 3.

Monadnock taxpayers group putting ad in newspaper and Troy Town News and Chairman Matson has since spoken to them and he believes that they have the cost covered.

Norman Whitney Abatement – 156 Marlborough Rd. Map 20 Lot 5 – Chairman Matson MOVED to inform Mr. Whitney that an appraisal needs to be for the abatement SECOND Selectmen Bailey VOTE unanimous

Jim Dicey dropped off an ordinance that would deal with damaged mailboxes during plowing. The Select Board would like Mr. Dicey to come into next week’s meeting to discuss. Selectwoman Guelcher spoke with Mr. Dicey about Old Tyme Trading Post complaints that snow gets pushed onto their property. Old Tyme Trading Post would like Mr. Dicey to not plow snow onto the property and made a call to Officer Newell. Mr. Dicey plowing is legal.

Ed Ridly, 88 Monadnock St – received correspondence from divided of property Map 12 Lot 3 and Map 12 Lot 20 from CAI. Chairman Matson wants information sent to a lawyer and find who is responsible for the mess up. If Town is responsible then we will cover under insurance errors and emissions.

Warrant Articles – Go over changes. No recommendations on Article 14 of Kimball Hall. Article 4 and 5 changes. Selectmen Bailey MOVED to leave Articles 4 and 5 as approved by DRA SECOND Selectwoman Guelcher VOTE unanimous

Fireworks Ordinance – Chairman Matson MOVED to accept changes to fireworks ordinance “The sale, possession, and use of fireworks is permitted in the Town of Troy in accordance with existing federal and state laws. The Town will neither require nor issue permits for fireworks” SECOND Selectmen Bailey VOTE unanimous

Selectwoman Guelcher asked if we had heard anything from Lynn Rust, CPA.

March 13th Chairman Matson has tradeshow and won’t be here for Selectmen’s Meeting.

Election Day – Select Board get there at 9:00 am to make sure everything is set-up.

Flags for Town Meeting – Will look for base upstairs.

Chairman Matson asked if there was any public comment – Herb Drugg asked about copy of warrant articles. Selectmen Bailey gave him a copy.

Chairman Matson would like universal postings of meeting dates and times.

Chairman Matson would like each agenda to state a calendar with all dates of when forms are due to the DRA.
