Overview:

  • Reports to Lab Director who shows a positive attitude, accountability, plus warmth and competence – which makes this a fabulous lab team!
  • Provide support for compliance requirements of CLIA, CMS, etc.
  • Collaborate with other laboratory technical specialists regarding updates, changes, etc.

JOB OVERVEW:

Responsible for performing and recording a broad range of manual and automated routine laboratory tests – the most progressive laboratory to work for

1. Performs all routine and some more complex procedures in a timely and accurate manner
2. Interprets and correlates test results with patient's diagnosis
3. Documents all quality control procedures performed and document corrective action when QC is out of range
4. Performs routine maintenance on sophisticated instrumentation
