Launched online gallery; responsible for design, construction, and maintenance as well as curatorial, and managerial tasks. Pixmaven strives to feature unrepresented artists and independent talents in a simple and clean format. The site recently committed to documenting and archiving a grass roots September 11th memorial project.
2000- 2003Back Bay Interactive, Boston, MA
Exclusive contract to John Hancock, Inc. as Production Engineer, Lead Designer, Tech Lead. Began as Production Engineer, quickly moved up to greater responsibilities and technical challenges in the roles of Lead Designer and Tech Lead.
Web Design: lead design on new projects; user interface design for web based applications; graphical element development including animations, logos, posters, screensavers; page flow, style guide, storyboard, wire frame development and documentation; redesign of current sites.
Construction/Coding: html templates, javascripting, enhancements, maintenance, redesign, and testing for several internet, intranet, and extranet sites including:

Predominantly designed and developed highly functional web-based applications, allowing users to access and update databases in real time.
Created and organized an image and source file archive, making future image edits easier.
Recently developed two site redesigns, enhancements to two web-based applications, and a new stand-alone site for Hancock. Key team member in the merging of two of Hancock’s largest sites.
Earned thirteen merit awards.
