1Life Wide Learning (LWL): (SDC rating: 4.1/5)
1.1The school implemented the One-Student-One-LWL-Activity Policy to develop their talents, attitudes and values.
1.2The school attained the target of engaging every student in one to two LWL activities
1.3In order to enable all primary students to enjoy LWL activities, the school used a period in the time-table for LWL.
1.4The school organized LWL activities after school except on Friday and on Saturday mornings for both P.1 and S.1 students.
1.5LWL activities included:
1.5.1Physical education:
-Latin dance, Chinese dance, badminton, soccer, table-tennis, gymnastics, track & field, Taekwondo, tennis for children (Primary 1)
-Jazz dance, table tennis, soccer, badminton, basketball, volley ball, track and field (Secondary 1)
1.5.2Visual art:
-2D Design Workshop, 3D Design Workshop, Creative Arts Design Workshop, Visual Arts in Mathematics (Primary 1)
-Creative Arts Club, Creative Photography Club (Secondary 1)

1.6The school assessed, evaluated, recorded and reported the participation and the achievement of students in LWL in the school reports.
1.7Students enjoyed LWL activities and their attendance records were good.
2Life Value Education (LVE): (SDC rating: 4.1/5)
2.1The school developed the LVE curriculum framework from P.1 to S.6.
2.2Based on the LVE curriculum framework, the school developed teaching units and implemented them in P.1 and S.1.
2.3The school put forward the notion of “Be a good neighbour” and “Be a good learner” and emphasized four attitudes for learning– responsibility, perseverance, wisdom and choice.
2.4The school also scheduled time within a school day and the school year for LVE:
-The school made use of recess and lunch time to train P.1 students to line up and provide them with feedback. This helped P.1 students learn to choose and fulfill their responsibility.
-The school made use of morning devotion and assembly periods to act on students’ perception and self-concept.
-The school implemented schemes that provided students with feedback to act on their behaviour, perception and self-concept. The schemes included:

3Handling misbehaving and emotional students: (SDC rating: 4.1)
3.1In addition to the social worker from the Hong Kong Family Welfare Association, the school employed a full-time social worker to help handle misbehaving and emotional students. The social worker was able to support teachers inside and outside classrooms and handle cases rapidly.
3.2On counseling students, the school emphasized building rapport with students, helping students reflect upon their way of thinking, feeling and doing and make new choices, and then correct their behaviour.
3.3The school provided training to teachers to do classroom management.
3.4The principal made classroom observations and helped teachers improve in classroom management.
4Guidance programs: (SDC rating: 4.2)
4.1The school conducted mass programs, assemblies, competitions, services under the themes of “Be a good neighbour” and “Be a good learner”. Programs organized included:
-Star of the Month (Primary 1)
-Be a Good Neighbour Competition, Good Bye Siu Ming Campaign, Class Climate Building Competition, Interclass Video Production Competition, Classroom Decoration Competition, Picnic Day Slogan Competition, Good Deeds Reporting Activity. (Secondary 1)
4.2The school identified (1) students with leadership, (2) students that need intensive support, and (3) “hidden” students and organized Adventure Base Counseling activities or camps for them.
4.3Students made obvious improvement in behaviour, perception and self-concept.
5Service programs: (SDC rating: 3.2)
5.1The school implemented the One-Student-One-Post Policy. Every student was assigned a post and a teacher-in-charge as his/her mentor.
5.2The student were committed to serve and served the school well.
6Diversified award and recognition scheme: (SDC rating: 4.2)
6.1The school set up a variety of award schemes to recognize students’ participation and achievement.
6.2The schemes included:
-Good Deeds & Good Manners Awards

-Awards in various interclass competitions.

6.3The school implemented the High Display Policy to display students’ work within the school campus.
6.4The school required class teachers to inform students’ parents at least twice in the school year about the positive side of the students. The no. of contacts of class teachers with parents were 613 and 413 for P.1 and S.1 respectively.
6.5The school made records of students’ non-academic achievement and printed them in the school reports.
