Section 8 Administrator’s Association Presents:

HCV FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT TRAINING

AND UPDATE

BY

CasterlineAssociates,PC

PROGRAM

Jason Casterline of Casterline Associates PC will discuss the latest developments in the Financial Management of the Housing Choice Voucher Program. Recent HCV changes, including the introduction in 2012 of the so-called "Cash Management" requirements, have made it more difficult to target your spending. In order to help you better manage your HCV resources and house as many families as possible, Jason has come up with an easy three step methodology to help you cut through the confusion of the many forms that are being emailed to you by HUD. Topics include the latest on: determination of funding, status of NRA reclamation, tracking program reserve (aka HUD-held HAP reserve), targeting your spending and ongoing financial monitoring, the latest on Admin funding and UNA, as well as VMS and FDS reporting updates. Jason is on an expert review panel for the new HUD Admin Fee study and will also provide an update on that topic.
