Sealed lump sum bids are hereby solicited fromQualified Contractors to provide necessary supervision, labor, materials and equipment required to execute the Work prescribed by the Plans and Specifications titledErlanger Health System, Chattanooga, Tennessee, Erlanger Hospital Overflow Parking Lot ProjectNo.4605 prepared by March Adams and Associates, Chattanooga TN.

1.03 THE ARCHITECT/Engineer
A. The Engineer isMarch Adams and Associates Chattanooga, Tennessee 37404. Phone (423) 698-6675.Any questions should be directed to the office of the Engineer. Questions received up to 2 business days before the bid will be answered to all bidding contractors.
1.04 GENERAL CONTRACTOR BIDDERS
A. This project is open to all Contractors licensed in the State of Tennessee for the extent of the work being proposed. Submission of a proposal at bid time can only be accomplished by first obtaining acceptance from the Owner prior to bid day. This may require submission of proof of contractor’s qualification to perform work of this type and scalebeing submitted along with references and documentation sufficient for the Owner and Engineer to make an informed decision.
B. Plans and specifications will be available for review at the office of the owner and at the following locations:

Contractors may acquire the Bid Documents from American-Campbell blue printing located at 2502 East 12th Street Chattanooga TN upon submission of a plans deposit check made out to the ownerfor a cost of $150.00 per set; refundable upon return of saiddocuments to the Engineer or Owner in good conditionwithin 30 days after bid opening.
1.05 BIDS revised bid date per addendum # 1
A. Formal Bids will be received by the owner, in the Erlanger Planning and Construction Building Conference Room located at the corner of Central Avenue and Blackford Street, Chattanooga, TN, until1:00 pm local time onThursday,July 7th, 2016.The bids will be opened and read out loud in the presence of the bidders.
B. Bid Bond as well as Performance Bond and Payment Bonds are required. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of 90 days from above stated bid date. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all informalities therewith. The Contract Form to be utilized will be "AIA Document - A101-Standard Form of Agreement between Owner and Contractor for a Stipulated Sum", 2007 Edition.
1.06 PRE-BID CONFERENCE
A. A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be conducted for all bidding Contractors beginning at 1:00 pm local time on Tuesday May 24th 2016, in the Planning and Construction Conference Room of Erlanger Medical Center, Chattanooga, TN.
