Things to Consider in the Assessment of Non-Emergent Responses

)The outcomes should be appropriately diverse in scope and depth, obtainable and measurable. The document should meet the format requirements.*

)The qualifications should be appropriately diverse in scope and depth, obtainable and measurable. The assessment strategy should be thorough but not overly cumbersome.

)The behaviors should have severe and realistic negative ramifications and be of such a nature that the chance of successful behavioral modification is unlikely to occur.

)While completion by the end of the day is all that is required, the rankings and the explanations should coincide.

)The CC should investigate for potential reasons and avoid jumping to conclusions while recognizing the impact of the tardiness. A reasonable resolution plan should be included.

)The CC should develop a true understating of what the problem actually is and potential reasons for its existence. A reasonable resolution plan should be included which is both diplomatic and realistic for practicing clinicians.

)A reasonable understating of the pros and cons associated with precepting should be evident and clearly communicated. It will be desirable if the conclusion of the presentation is that the pros outweigh the cons.

)The plan must have a reasonable chance of being efficient and effective. Utilization of a network and/or high impact, low cost campaign is desirable.

*Format should be considered whenever a particular one is specified in the assignment.
