Complete sentences are made of subjects and predicates. They begin with a capital letter. They end with punctuation. We have learned how to add details to our sentences with adjectives, vivid verbs, and prepositional phrases.
We will review adjectives – describing words nouns – people, places, animals, or things verbs – action words
Onomatopoeia – Onomatopoeias are words that imitate a sound. HONK! BOOM! CUCKOO! Crash! Pow!
Prefixes – These are word parts that are added to the beginning of a root word. They change the meaning of the word.
Suffixes – These are word parts that are added to the end of a root word. They change the meaning of the word.
