Quotation for the Supply/Installation of glass enclosure.

Dear Sir,

We hereby present our proposal for Warner Concepts Corporation (WCC) to design, procure, manufacture, assemble, transport, install and warranty the exterior components related to the “Building Enclosure” on the above-mentioned project.

This proposal is based upon the following estimates and qualifications:

Within the parameters of this proposal.
Total Sum $ 14,280,000.00

QUALIFICATIONS

Unitized System to be Proposed and approved during design stage.
Taxes are EXCLUDED from proposal.
All finish sealant to be DC 795 Black.
GC is to provide scaffolding and safety lines if exterior access is needed.
Removal of all garbages (existing glass) is by others. WCC will center pile all debris on site.
Building structure must be capable of withstanding the maximum loads imposed by the glazing systems. Building structure must provide suitable anchor points (or inserts or embedments) for the glazing systems and must be erected within mutually-agreed tolerances. The suitable anchor points and inserts will be provided by others. Systems are designed to accommodate standard construction tolerances, provided tolerances shown on the shop drawings are maintained.
Warranties will be furnished on a “pass-through basis” to the extent available from the manufacturer and without enhancements by WCC. In general: Glass – 10 Years, Finish – 10 Years, Components – 05 Years.
Other than through standard lien waiver forms, WCC will not waive any legal rights to file a lien or bond claim, or to file a lawsuit for compensation for work WCC has performed, or extra costs it has incurred.
WCC has not included errors and omissions insurance coverage. WCC will promptly report any observed errors or omissions, however, we consider it the responsibility of others to perform in accordance with the Project Contract Documents. It is not our responsibility to determine such errors and omissions. Furthermore, we will not be held responsible for work not specifically outlined in this proposal.

EXCLUSIONS

Taxes
Any interior finishing
Touch up of damaged or scratched aluminum pieces of existing installation
Firesafing / Insulation behind spandrel glass.
Signage or sign bands.
Heat soaking of tempered glass.
Structural steel or miscellaneous steel other than that which is required within our system.
Provisions for penetrations through the glazing systems by others.
Provisions for WBE or MBE participation.
Provisions for performance and payments bonds, or any kinds of bonds.
Participation in liquidated damages or general penalties.
Provisions for Field Tests or “field chamber tests”.
Aluminum flashings are included, stainless steel or other materials for flashings are excluded.
Fasteners integral to the enclosure are included. Field fasteners are excluded.
Temporiary protection / Sidewalk bridging / Scaffolding.
Saturday and Sunday deliveries.
