Selecting and Registering Your Finalist Projects:

Please reference the email sent to your building science fair contact in April confirming themaximum number of finalist projects that may be selected from each grade level to represent your school. Remember that no more than two students may represent a project.

You must register your finalist projects online at by Friday, May 23, unless you have requested an extension.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to edit finalist information online after it is submitted.If you need to make changes to any of the information submitted, please contact Alisha at .

Read and Distribute Instructions for Student Finalists & Parents:

Please read, copy and distribute the “Information for Science Fair Finalists and Families”letter to each student finalistwho will be representing your school at the district fair. Please familiarize yourself with the information in this letter so that you are prepared to answer questions from students and parents.

Print and securely attach a copy of the “Project Entry Form” to the back of each finalist project posterboard as well as all boxes or bags of additional equipment. Be sure that forms are filled out completely. Be sure that aprojectaward category ischecked.

Project entry forms must be attached to the back of the posterboards only. Please DO NOT include student or school names on the front of the posterboards.

To-Do the Day of the Science Fair:

Provide a copy of the“Information for Student Finalists and Parents”letter to your school office in case they receive phone calls from confused parents.

All posterboards and related materials (with completed Project Entry Forms attached!) must be in your school office NO LATER THAN 8:00am on Thursday, June5th. Projects will be picked-up by district staff and delivered to the Museum of Flight.

If a project includes oversized or elaborate equipment, an adult will need to bring the equipment to Museum of Flight and set it up by your board by 3pm. No parents or teachers will be allowed to drop-off oversized projects at the museum before 11:30am.

Please invite your school principal and any other interested school staff. We hope you will attend, as well!Admission to the Museum of Flight during the science fair is free!
