Seattle born and raised Sir Mix A Lot (Anthony Ray) best known for
“Posse On Broadway” and his Grammy winning single, “Baby Got Back ”
enjoys producing music at his Auburn, WA studio. Recently he released “Daddy’s Home”
his 6th offering in a time of hard hitting cutting edged albums.
He is also executive producer of the album, “Right Side Down” from the Pacific North
West’s newest sensation “Outtasite” www.outtasitemusic.com.
Currently Mix spends about 30 hours a week working on projects for Tomeka,
new MixaLot and other projects that he keeps on the hush. Mix’s studio is
quite state of the art with drum machines, mixers, Mac gear and a separate vocal
recording booth. Outside of the studio, take a walk out onto the deck overlooking the
13acre site complete with his own private fishing hole and basketball court.
There he has POSH P-2s mounted discretely overhead.
“With these P-2’s I can hear my music anywhere on this side of the property.
Whether I’m playing ball, washing my car or just throwing a line in.
I can hear them anywhere” he says. “And the fact that they are weather resistant
I know I’ll be able to enjoy them for a long time to come.”
