SEASONAL POLICIES AND REGULATIONS

To help us maintain the high standards of our campground, please adhere to the following rules and regulations. It is mandatory for all seasonal members, their families and guests to abide by all the rules and regulations set forth by the campground.

GUESTS/VISITORS

  • All guests must register and pay a daily visitor fee of $3 per person. Daily visitors must leave the park by 10:30pm. Visitors under the age of 4 are free.
  • Overnight visitor fees are $5.00 per person per night.
  • Visitor parking is available near the office. Any cars in the designated visitor parking area must have a visible parking pass. Violators may be towed at owner’s expense.
  • Friends and Family days are Mon thru Wed. Valid for up to 4 visitors. The daily visitor fee applies for additional visitors and visitors that use the Cabana/Pond area. Not valid during holiday weekends.
  • Sundays are Senior Days. Visitors over the age of 62 are free.
  • Seasonal members are responsible for their guests. Seasonal members must be present for their guests and visitors to enjoy the grounds.
  • Babysitters are discouraged without prior approval from management. If approved, babysitters are subject to the daily visitor fee and are not permitted to stay past 10:30pm.

THE GATE

  • All vehicles entering the grounds must stop at the gate. Ensure your vehicle pass is visible from your windshield. The gate allows only one vehicle through at a time. Please follow this guideline to prevent damage to your vehicle. The gate closes at 10:30pm.
  • All seasonal members are required to have a gate key card. There is a maximum of 2 gate cards per site. Gate cards are $20 deposit each. Cash or check only.
  • Seasonal members that forget or lose their key cards must stop in the office to have the gate opened.

ELECTRIC/WATER

  • No washing of trailers or awnings without prior approval from management.
  • Watering of yards may only be done Monday through Thursday in the evenings.
  • Electric meters will be read the 1st of the month, there is a $5 monthly surcharge. Payments are due by the 5th of each month, if not paid by the due date, a $5 late fee will be added to the total bill.

GARBAGE

  • There is a trash and recycling program at the campground. Please follow the directions on the bins for proper handling of trash and recyclables.
  • Household and other large items are not allowed in the trash. Waste management will not take these items. Items include grills, awnings, tires, hoses etc.

SWIMMING POND / PLAYGROUND / CABANA

  • All seasonal members and their guests must have a swim band at all times while in the swimming pond and Cabana areas.
  • No lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk.
  • Pond hours are between 9:30am- 8:00pm. Playgrounds are open until 9pm. Memorial Day – Labor Day the playground hours are extended until 10pm.
  • All children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult in pond area. Children under the age of 8 require supervision at the playgrounds.
  • No smoking or glass containers in pond, Cabana or playground areas!

GOLF CARTS

  • All golf carts must be registered in the office. ($5 for 1st cart and $10 for 2nd cart)
  • Cart registration sticker must be affixed to the cart and visible at all times. Site number should be on the cart in reflective lettering.
  • Golf cart liability insurance is required. The office must have a copy of the insurance card on file.
  • All carts must have head lights and operators must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Golf carts are only allowed on gravel roads, not on walking paths.
  • No children are allowed to drive – No exceptions!
  • Speeding and racing will not be tolerated.
  • All golf carts must be parked by 10:30pm.

SITE RESTRICTIONS

  • The management must be informed before any changes or improvements are made to any campsite, this includes; the building of decks, putting up a tent, landscaping, moving of fire rings, etc.
  • Management must also be informed before the planting of flowers and shrubs. These items must blend in with the natural shrubbery and landscape of the park. Absolutely no artificial flowers! Maximum of 5 lawn ornaments per site. (Bird baths, gnomes, etc)
  • Clothes lines may only be used for bathing suits and towels. They must be removed after use for safety of others.
  • Site boundaries are determined by the campground. No fencing of any kind or any dividers between sites.
  • No plastic tubs/garbage bins should be visible; they must be in a shed or on the deck.
  • Nothing should be stored under campers at anytime.
  • Wood piles must be located next to shed or camper. No blue tarps or piles of scrap lumber are allowed on site.
  • Only one camping unit and one shed are allowed per site.
  • Decks shall be no larger than 12ft x 22ft and sheds should be plastic and no larger than 8ft x 8ft. Decks and sheds that do not meet these requirements cannot be sold on the grounds. If you leave, they must be taken off site.
  • Utility trailers are not allowed on sites at any time.
  • Outside games, toys, and bikes must be stored in sheds or on decks when seasonals are not present.
  • No feminine hygiene products, paper towels, wipes, grease/oil, or other things of this nature shall be put in the sewer lines.
  • Nothing is allowed in or on the trees because this damages the trees.
  • No bug zappers!
  • No gazebos and platforms/free standing structures.
  • Patio sets must be on cement slab or deck (includes porch swings).
  • Screen tents can be in use when seasonal members are on site. All tents must be taken down when members leave. If this rule is not followed, management will take down the tent and a fee may apply.
  • All riding lawn mowers must be stored in a shed.
  • Only two vehicles are allowed per site. Additional vehicles may be parked in visitor parking near the office. Vehicles should not be parked on other sites.
  • For sale signs and political signs may not be posted anywhere on site. If selling a camper, please post information on the bulletin board in the office, not in your window.

PETS

  • Members are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
  • Pets should not be left unattended at sites.
  • Pets must be on leash at all times that is no longer than 6 ft and should not be tied to trees.
  • No pets are allowed in the common areas of the campground (pond, playground, office, cabana house, etc).
  • Children are not permitted to walk dogs.

GENERAL RESTRICTIONS

  • The speed limit is 5MPH in the campground. Only 1 warning will be issued.
  • Bike riding in the campground is allowed between 8:00am and 8:00pm.
  • Radios and loud noises must be kept at a level that does not offend your neighbors.
  • Children under the age of 8 years old must be accompanied by an adult when using the restroom.
  • Quiet Time is between the hours of 10:30pm and 8:00am. (Holiday Weekends 11:00pm-8:00am)
  • Delivery from food establishments must be delivered to the office by 10:00pm. Seasonal member must be present at time of delivery.
  • NO smoking in ANY campground buildings.
  • No ATV’s, scooters, mopeds, or other motorized vehicles will be allowed on the grounds.
  • Seasonal members may not use the campground’s address to forward mail or deliver packages. PO Boxes are available at the Holmen Post Office.

CUSTOMER CONVENIENCE FEE

  • Credit card transactions will be assessed a 3% customer convenience fee. This will apply to payments for pumping, electricity, and seasonal sites.

REFUNDS

  • There are no refunds issued for the current season after July 1st. Refunds before July 1st will be issued at the season rate less the monthly/weekly rate for each month/week after April 15th.
  • Holding Tanks (current plan: $100/season): No refunds shall be issued.
  • Holding Tanks (old plan: $400 up front): Refunds will be issued at $400 less $100 per year the tank has been owned. Refunds will not be issued for tanks older than 4 years

We can not assume responsibility for injury, accident or losses to our members/guests. The management reserves the right to refuse campsite rental to anyone. Prices and rules may change without notice. Citations will be given if guidelines are not followed. Once 3 violations have accrued, Whispering Pines Management will have the right to evict within a 24 hour period. No refunds will be issued. We will not tolerate disrespect towards our nightly campers, seasonal members and staff.
