Kye Joung Lee is Professor of law at Seoul National University. He teaches the civil law including torts, contract law, property law and the law of trusts. His academic interest extends to the legal issues with regard to bankruptcy law, civil practice and A. I. law. Before joining SNU faculty, he pursued his career as a judge for over 12 years (2002-2014). He holds a B.A. degree in Sociology from Seoul National University, a master degree in law from Seoul National University and Ph.D. degree in law from Seoul National University. Also he earned an LL.M. at Boalt Hall school of Law, University of California, Berkeley in 2011. He is an editor of Jounal of Korean law. He was awarded Hong Jin Ki Prize by the dissertation titled “the Fundamental Principles of the Trust” in 2016. His publications include;
