ACCOMMODATIONS
Provided by Fort Ticonderoga:
  • Barracks are supplied with bunks and hay-filled mattresses (see form below for details). If scouts prefer to have more, personal space they have the option to sleep on their sleeping pad on the barracks floor.
  • Designated camping area on the historic grounds. Tents (provided by the Scout Troop) are permitted.
  • Soldier’s huts can accommodate up to 6 scouts/hut (sleeping on a sleeping pad on the floor)
/ Troops should bring:
  • Sleeping bags, pads and pillows
  • Personal medications as needed
  • Toothbrush, combs, & other personal toiletries

Bunks in barracks / There is a total of 7 bunks (14 beds) plus an additional bed. The beds can sleep 1-2 people/bed, depending on your circumstances. / Y / N
Tents / You may pitch tents on a flat, grassy site to pitch tents, within the Fort walls, on the Parade Grounds. / Y / N
Soldier’s huts / There are 3 Soldier’s huts; each with space for 6 sleeping on camping mats on the floor. / Y / N

  • Personal food and beverage as needed (snacks, etc.)
  • Mess kits (adults and scouts)
  • Coolers with ice for their food storage
